Thrust ball bearings are manufactured in single
direction and double direction designs. They are only able to accept axial loads but can
be operated at relatively high speeds. The bearings are separable. Mounting is therefore
simple as the various bearing components (shaft washer, housing washer, ball and cage
thrust assembly) can be installed separately, The benefits of using thrust ball bearings
derive from their high running accuracy and high load carrying capacity.
Deep groove ball bearings are simple in
construction as well as easy to operate and maintain. They can run at high speeds and can
support both radial and axial loads, Furthermore they are robust, versatile and quiet
running, deep groove ball bearings are available in single and double row designs. The
single row bearings are also available in sealed versions; they are lubricated-for-life
and maintenance-free, A wide variety of types and sizes can be supplied, including
standard bearings for conventional as well as unconventional applications. The
cost/performance ratio for deep groove ball bearings is excellent.
Tapered roller bearings have tapered inner and
outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are placed. This arrangement results in
the bearing being able to accommodate both radial and axial loads, with various bearing
cup angles affecting the ratio of thrust capacity to radial rating.
Together with the appropriate bearings these Plumber Block
Housings form economic, interchangeable units. Easy to mount and maintain. Wide
variety of sizes and designs provides for numerous options of self-aligning arrangements,
seals, lubrication methods and monitoring systems.
Bearing units basically consist of modified deep
groove ball bearings and cast, pressed metal and plastic housings, of numerous styles and
sizes. These assemblies can offer simple, economic solutions to product design, with
characteristics varying from compact size and simple locking arrangements, to alignment
compensation and corrosion resistance.
Rod ends consist of an eye-shaped head with an
integrating shank, which forms a mirror finished spherical inner ring of hardened high
quality steel, offering very smooth rotation and oscillation. We stock a comprehensive
range of sizes both in metric and imperial. Primarily bronze lined, they are available in
male (external), female (internal), left and right hand threads. All rod ends are fitted
with grease nipples for lubrication.
The DU Bearing is the
ultimate in oilless bearing design, using lead and tetrafluoroethylene (Teflon) having
excellent wear resistance which optimizes metal properties such as strength and
dimensional stability. Coefficients of static and dynamics friction are so small that the
bearing surfaces run smoothly without lubrication, while at the same time eliminating
sticking and slipping.Unlike regular bearings which require constant lubrication, the DU
type does away with the need for costly maintenance. It is also possible to combine them
with parts totally submerged in a lubricant
V-Belts and pulleys are a available in sizes
ranging from small to very large. Pulleys are available in taper lock or bored and keyed
to size. Multi row belts and pulleys are also available for large industrial applications
